What it had to do.

The practice works in the space before a brief is fully formed, so the website has to show how it thinks, not just list services. New case studies and insights also have to go up regularly without a developer in the loop.

The structure underneath.

Services, case studies and insights all follow one content model, and every entry is edited in a Git-based editor. A new case study is a versioned change the practice makes itself, not a developer task.

  1. Pages

    • Home
    • How we think
    • What we do
    • Work
    • Insights
    • Contact
  2. Content model

    • Service entry
    • Case study entry
    • Insight entry
  3. Publishing

    • Content editor
    • Share images
    • RSS feed and sitemap

Static pages served from a global edge network, with a small Worker only for the editing routes. Changes made in the editor are versioned, so any entry can be reverted.

  • A content model for services, case studies and insights, so every entry follows the same structure
  • A Git-based content editor, so changes are versioned and reversible
  • Static pages served from a global edge network, with a small Worker only for the editing routes

What we built.

  • An ivory, editorial design with large serif headlines and generous space
  • Case study pages built around the problem, the thinking and the outcome
  • Generated social share images, an RSS feed and a sitemap
  • Responsive layouts designed separately for mobile

The result.

The site is live at harvare.co.za, and the practice publishes its own case studies and insights through the content editor.

Experience concept: HarVaré. Digital build: JVR Studio.
