Who we are

This website is operated by JVR Studio, a trading name of Laymans Digital (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2013/141420/07). For any question about your information, email hello@jvrstudio.com.

Information you send us

When you send a project inquiry, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, business name, country, the service you are interested in and your project description, plus any optional details you choose to add, such as your phone number, current website, budget range or timeframe.

Alongside your inquiry, the form sends the region and currency of the page you used, the page you came from on this site, and the country your connection appears to come from. That country is provided by our hosting network and is used only as context for the inquiry.

We use this information to reply to you and, if you wish, to prepare a proposal. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

How inquiries are delivered and stored

This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Inquiries are delivered by email through Resend, our email delivery provider, to the studio inbox. Only the studio can access that inbox. Inquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted after 12 months. If we work together, project correspondence is kept for as long as needed for the project and our legal obligations.

To protect the form from abuse, your network address is used briefly to limit repeated submissions. It is not stored with your inquiry.

Cookies and similar storage

The regional site you see, and therefore the currency of the prices shown, is chosen from the country of your internet connection, which our hosting provider (Cloudflare) determines from your network address when a page is requested. We do not store your network address for this purpose and no cookie is used to remember your region.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, email hello@jvrstudio.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority, such as the Information Regulator in South Africa or the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom.

Changes

If the way this website handles information changes, we will update this page.
