Websites for accounting practices.

Clients choose an accountant on trust, and most check the website before they make contact. We design practice websites that explain each service and fee plainly, answer the questions clients ask, and turn inquiries into requests you can act on.

What a practice website has to do.

An accounting website is judged on clarity and trust before design. These are the jobs it has to do well.

  1. 01

    Explain each service plainly

One page per service: who it is for, what is included, what you need from the client and what happens next. Plain enough for a business owner, precise enough for the details that matter.

  2. 02

    Publish fees, or starting fees

Prices on the site mean inquiries arrive already qualified, and fewer first calls end on cost. Fees can live in one data file, so a change updates every page that mentions it.

  3. 03

Show the deadlines clients worry about

A table that always shows the next federal and state filing dates gives clients a reason to come back, and a reason to get in touch early.

  4. 04

    Collect the right details first

Separate forms for a quote, for onboarding or for a specific service collect what the first conversation needs, instead of one contact form that starts a long email exchange.

  5. 05

    Handle personal information carefully

Built with the privacy laws that apply to your firm in mind: a clear privacy notice, no tracking without consent, and no sensitive documents sent through website forms. Documents go through the secure portal or service you already use.

  6. 06

    Keep every claim factual

The AICPA and state boards of accountancy set rules on how members advertise. We write copy that states what you do and what it costs, and leave out comparisons and claims you could not back up.

  7. 07

    Answer what people search for

Guides on the questions clients actually ask bring the right people to the site and show your expertise before the first call.

Every build includes the SEO foundation: crawlable pages, unique titles and descriptions, structured data and a sitemap. How SEO works with us

The pages most practices need.

A smaller practice can start with fewer pages and add guides over time. Your proposal agrees the list.

  • Home: what the practice does, for whom, and the next step
  • A page for each service
  • Fees or starting fees
  • How it works: onboarding, documents and timelines
  • Guides on the questions clients ask
  • Frequently asked questions
  • About the practice
  • Contact and request forms
  • A privacy notice

What it costs.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies in your country. Your written proposal confirms the final scope and price.

  • Foundation

    From US$2,500

For a sole practitioner or a small practice with a few core services: typically 3 to 5 pages and a simple inquiry form.

  • Business

    From US$4,000

For a practice that wants a page per service, published fees and request forms: typically 5 to 10 pages.

  • Advanced

    From US$6,000

For a larger site with a library of guides and several request forms, like the Nautical website.

Hosting and care are optional, from US$39 per month. Compare packages

Questions practices ask.

Do you write the content?

We plan the structure of every page and can draft the copy from your notes and a short interview. You check it for technical accuracy, because the advice on the site is yours. Substantial copywriting is quoted separately.

Can clients send documents through the website?

We recommend linking to the secure portal or document service you already use, rather than collecting sensitive documents through a website form. Website forms collect only what the first conversation needs.

Can we update fees and deadlines ourselves?

Yes, when your proposal includes a content management system. Otherwise fees and deadlines live in one data file, and changes are covered by Website Care or quoted as small updates.

Do you work with practices in other countries?

Yes. We work remotely with practices in South Africa, the UK and the US, with prices in each region's currency. For clients in the Americas, we schedule calls in your morning, which is our afternoon in South Africa.

Will the website bring in new clients?

It gives people who are already looking a clear reason to contact you. Every build includes the SEO foundation, and SEO Growth is available from US$600 per month. Search positions and inquiry numbers cannot be guaranteed.

How long does a practice website take?

Your proposal confirms the schedule once the pages and content are agreed. Content is usually what sets the pace.
